Someone says, AI will replace copywriters.
Apparently, everyone's a writer now. Just hit Enter.

Well, here's Johnny Yeo.

Still writing for humans.
Still finding ideas in human behavior.
And yes, using AI to take those ideas beyond words
Decided by my perspectives — all to prove one thing.

AI didn't kill copywriting.
It took our stories beyond words
and gave us more room to be human.
And strategically creative.

About Johnny

I'm Johnny Unjong Yeo, a planner-turned-copywriter
at Jung von Matt HANGANG in Seoul.

I work with Korean brands going global and global brands finding their place in Korea. Along the way, I've learned that what people already know about a brand can sometimes be the very thing stopping them from seeing something new.

Since I working as a creative, I love finding what's been overlooked and giving it a new role in the story. Sometimes that means turning a conventional medium into a creative idea. Other times, finding a human truth that people genuinely care about and want to talk about.

I'm drawn to ideas that are simple, unexpected, and make people look twice. The kind that are more fun to discover than to explain.

When I'm not making ads(:a rare occurrence), I'm busy consuming other people's stories. Movies, webtoons, TV series, even conversations with complete strangers. Apparently, my idea of taking a break from storytelling is more storytelling.
